AC Milan have been given a boost in their pursuit of Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini but they face a competitor, according to a report.
Milan are looking to reinforce the team and as they are getting closer to Champions League qualification, they will have some extra money to work with. Several names have been mentioned as targets already, with the right wing position seemingly an area being targeted.
Calciomercato.com and La Repubblica have reported that Milan have a concrete interest in Orsolini, whose contract will expire in 2022 and is valued at around €18-20m. According to journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter, the 24-year-old will not renew his contract with the Rossoblu, who will have to sell him in the summer so as not to lose him on a free transfer.
Among the clubs vigilant regarding the left-footed right winger – who has six goals and three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions – are Fiorentina and Milan.
