Despite hitting a purple patch recently having scored three times since the lockdown, Rafael Leao’s future at AC Milan appears uncertain.
Leao is one of a number of players who have picked up massively since the resumption of Serie A after what had been until then a very difficult season for the young Portuguese striker.
After a big money move from Lille he found it hard to break into the starting XI and keep his place, even despite the impact of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s arrival and the good relationship between the two, with Ante Rebic instead exploding.
According to transfer source Nicolo Schira on Twitter, Leao wishes to remain at Milan into next season but Ralf Rangnick will be the man who has the final say.
In addition, his agent Jorge Mendes has already held talks with Wolves, Juventus and Atletico Madrid over his client, meaning that if Milan did decide to sell then the offers would not be lacking.
#Leão's will is to stay at #ACMilan, but the final decision will be to Ralf #Rangnick. The player's agent (Jorge #Mendes) spoke in the last weeks with #Juventus, #AtleticoMadrid and #Wolverhamption. If #Milan decide to sell him, the bids will not miss. #transfers
