Schira: Milan turn to other targets as Man Utd set asking price too high for defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have turned their attention to other targets as Diogo Dalot is all set to return to Manchester United after his loan, a journalist has claimed.

As reported by Nicolo Schira on Twitter, Dalot will leave Milan and return to Manchester United after the U21 European Championships. His price is too high for the Rossoneri, who have other priorities in the full-back.

Dalot’s future could still be in Italy though, as Schira adds that the 22-year-old has been offered to Roma, the club where Jose Mourinho has just become the new head coach. Mourinho, of course, was the manager at Manchester United when the Red Devils signed him from Porto, so he is an obvious admirer of the player.

Dalot – a product of the Porto youth system – made 31 appearances for Milan this season across Serie A and the Europa League, often alternating between being left-back and right-back.

    1. IMO 10 is enough for him. So basically already 11M€ is too high. Glad Maldini & co. agree with me. There are dozens and dozens more capable RBs with a lower price tag.

  1. I’d pay up to 15 for him since he’s young and has potential. He’s not worth more than that currently.
