The start of the new season is just 11 days away for AC Milan and there is already talk of a very big crowd being at San Siro for the opening game against Udinese.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the enthusiasm and general buzz surrounding Milan fans has not gone away after the Scudetto win but rather the contrary as they cannot wait for the new season to resume,
The Rossoneri will be back in Serie A action at 18:00 CEST on Saturday 13 August against Udinese, and the paper reports that about 70,000 Milan fans are expected at San Siro to welcome the team back after their Scudetto win.
The 2022-23 season will bring new pressures for Stefano Pioli’s side as they will look to repeat their domestic success but must also aim to do better in the Champions League having finished bottom of the group last season.
I have bought the tickets for a game against Bologna. Super excited to be there toward the end of the month!
Nice!! It’s already been 5-6 years since my last trip to San Siro (been there 5 times). Hopefully that will change this season.
Same. 2017 last for me. The derby where Zapata equalized in the 97th minute. I’m starting to feel the itch.
That was one hell of a game!!!
