Secolo XIX: Milan and Napoli plan to observe Poland international at the World Cup

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Napoli have both taken a liking to Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior but he is expected to stay beyond the summer, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Il Secolo XIX (via MilanNews), Kiwior is attracting the interest of the Rossoneri and the Partenopei as both look to bolster their centre-back ranks for the future.

The Poland international has been impressive in Serie A since making the move over, and both clubs are expected to use the opportunity to observe him at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

This means that despite the interest of Milan and Napoli, the 22-year-old should stay in Liguria for another season unless there are some twists during this summer.

MilanNews reported that as part of the deal for Mattia Caldara – who will be heading out of Milan once again on a loan deal to Spezia – Milan have managed to obtain the right to first refusal for two Spezia players. One is Kiwior, and the other player is French defender Kelvin Amian.
