AC Milan continued their preparations for the game against Juventus at Milanello yesterday, and some signs emerged regarding the team that Paulo Fonseca will field.
As this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) recalls, the first snow of the season fell at the training ground yesterday. Tijjani Reijnders also returned, the last of the players involved with the national teams to arrive back.
The Dutch midfielder, paired with Youssouf Fofana, will lead the Rossoneri against Juventus tomorrow. Fonseca, however, has a couple of doubts regarding the defence and the forward line.
It will be a choice between Fikayo Tomori or the returning Matteo Gabbia alongside Malick Thiaw. Meanwhile, there is the temptation to play Samuel Chukwueze (or Yunus Musah) right wing with Christian Pulisic as an attacking midfielder.
The alternative is to play Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the midfield and the decision will be postponed until today’s training session, which will precede the coach’s press conference at 14:15pm.
However, the absences of Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi are certain, while Luka Jovic worked with the rest of the squad, although his call-up for tomorrow’s match is not yet a certainty.
Francesco Camarda, who did not take part in Milan Futuro’s trip to Pescara, could be on the bench again.
