Massimiliano Allegri recently spoke to the media at the annual Raduno press conference and as highlighted by the pundit Luca Serafini, his words portrayed a ‘significantly changed’ manager.
Most of you have probably read Allegri’s Raduno press conference already, but if you haven’t, it’s certainly worth checking out. Among other things, the manager made it very clear that everyone who works for Milan must aspire to win, as it’s the DNA of the club.

One person who has followed Allegri closely for quite some time, especially since his first stint at Milan in 2010-2014, is Luca Serafini. The well-known pundit was present at the aforementioned presser and according to him, the manager appeared like a changed man.
Serafini’s words on Allegri
In his latest editorial for MilanNews, Serafini wrote the following about Allegri’s press conference…
“During the presser, Allegri obviously appeared significantly changed from 15 years ago, but also from his latest Juventus tenure. Less aggressive, less scathing, much calmer.
“I’m fairly certain his mentality has also changed, that he’s not thinking of a team that only exploits, but rather one that attacks well and defends better. He repeatedly reiterated ‘results’, offering his vision of how to achieve them.
“It’s, for now, what the Rossoneri universe expected, what they needed. Curiosity is growing, but we’ll have to wait for the mosaic to be completed,” he wrote.

Allegri is relaxed, not changed. Because no one is pressuring him to win the Scudetto. “Just get us to Top4” which he will also get a 2mil bonus for… Why would trip balls? One competition to worry about, he can comfortably get us to Top4…
That’s it. That’s all they are asking him to do.
That’s a false statement. It’s been widely reported that there is NO UCL bonus in Allegri’s contract, only one for Scudetto.
What else should they ask him today right now? We are in recovery mode. The midfield is being completely rebuilt, there are questions marks at striker (as always) and we’re also changing fullbacks. We need to take this step by step. Top 4 is the first step. Then once we’ve reestablished that threshold we can try for a title challenge. At least Allegri should help us establish a higher floor. Then we’ll see if we can take the next step with him, or with someone else.
Plus why shouldn’t he be calm in a press conference? It’s not as if he’s calm cuz he’s just chillin and not too concerned with his job lol. It’s a preseason press conference. It’s not training. It’s behind closed doors conversation with players or staff. Just a silly take.
Yours is a silly take because at any serious club if he is asked to win the league and instead ends up in the top four, he gets sacked. Our club is upside down. No one cares for the league and all you’re asked for is top four. that’s why there is zero stress on his part. He can do this with his eyes closed and even be celebrated for.
Zero sporting ambition.
