AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli will be without Sergino Dest for today’s game against Sassuolo at San Siro, a report claims.
As reported by MilanNews, Dest will not even be on the bench for today’s match against the Neroverdi due to muscle fatigue. The USA international was not expected to start the game given Theo Hernandez is back and Davide Calabria is also fine after suffering a knock, but was a candidate to come on.
It is yet another muscle problem that has been sustained by one of Milan’s players, after Theo missed the game against Lazio due to muscle fatigue on top of the countless other issues that Pioli has been battling with this season.
Fatigue suggests more precaution than an actual pull or tweak of the muscle, so the hope is that the Barcelona loanee returns to contention for next weekend’s derby against Inter.
