Six Primavera players included in Milan’s squad for the Dubai Super Cup

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will arrive in Dubai tomorrow and Stefano Pioli announced his squad for the tip earlier this evening. A total of six Primavera players have been called up by the manager.

The Rossoneri will face Arsenal and Liverpool in the Dubai Super Cup next week. It will certainly be exciting to see them back in action and it helps that Pioli will have a relatively strong squad to rely on (read the full list here).

Six Primavera players have also been included in the squad, which is understandable since five Milan players are out due to World Cup commitments/vacations. Starting at the back, goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal has been included as expected.

16-year-old Adam Bakoune has been given the chance. He played the friendly against Lumezzane and he’s primarily a right-back. The centre-back Jan-Carlo Simic (17) is also present, having impressed a lot with the Primavera. Andrea Bozzolan (18) completes the defensive additions, primarily playing as a left-back.

The more established Primavera men Gabriele El Hilali (19) and Marko Lazetic (18) have also made the cut.

  1. Jungdal is not a primaveraplayer. He has not played a single game this season. Trains with the senior squad. Strange that Coubis is not included.
