Sky: 22-year-old forward wants out of Roma with Milan interested; €50m price tag mentioned

AC Milan have a concrete interest in signing Roma winger Cengiz Under despite speculation they are closing in on a deal for Dani Olmo, a report claims.

As we revealed, the Rossoneri are looking to reinforce in wide areas during the January window, depending on whether they can push through sales such as the one of Suso.

Reliable Croatian outlet Sportske broke the shock news on Wednesday night that Milan have launched a €30m bid for Dani Olmo, and Dinamo are willing to let him go with the player and his entourage keen on the move.

However, according to Sky Italia journalist Luca Marchetti – as cited by MilanNews.it – there may be another right-sided player that Milan could target.

He claimed that Cengiz Under – a player well known to current Rossoneri sporting director Ricky Massara – wants to leave Roma, but a deal can only take place if a forward leaves Milan.

The idea could have been an exchange with Suso, but Politano’s arrival from Inter has closed that door, so for now the Turkey international remains a favourable idea.

Sky’s Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Tuesday that the Giallorossi would apparently ‘only evaluate his possible transfer for certain figures’ – which coincides with La Gazzetta dello Sport’s previous report stating that he is rated at €50m.
