Based on recent speculation, AC Milan fans have begun to dream of the possibility of signing Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
According to Sky’s recent report however, it will remain a dream for now, even if they do acknowledge that conversations may have taken place.
Luca Marchetti, an expert on the market, revealed: “After the checks carried out in these weeks in front of Milan, in front of Lazio and in front of the player, at the moment it does not appear that there is a negotiation between the clubs for the Serbian.
“There is an undeniable interest on the part of the Rossoneri, just as there was also an attempt made through formulas that have never satisfied Lazio.
“It remains difficult to think that such negotiations can be resolved within 24 hours. This is not because Milan does not have the economic availability to do so, but it is a problem of formulas, of time and also of possible substitutes for Lazio.”
