Sky: Allegri preparing tactical surprise for Juventus against Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems as though Massimiliano Allegeri has prepared a tactical surprise ahead of tonight’s game between Juventus and AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium.

According to what was reported by Sky (via MilanNews), Allegri has a surprise line-up in mind for his Juventus side ahead of this evening’s game, one which involves shuffling players around.

His idea is to use Andrea Cambiaso as midfielder as part of a three-man midfield, thus meaning Weston McKennie will start on the bench and Tim Weah will occupy the right wing-back role.

Predicted Juventus XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Weah, Cambiaso, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Chiesa, Vlahovic.

La Gazzetta dello Sport also believe that Cambiaso will play in midfield while Weah will be on the right, so it will be an experimental side of sorts given the former usually plays as a wing-back.

Meanwhile, Stefano Pioli is expected to field a back four of Yunus Musah, Malick Thiaw, Matteo Gabbia and Alessandro Florenzi in front of Mike Maignan, with Musah at right-back and Florenzi on the other side.

Milan are battling a crisis in defence again because Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria are all suspended, while Simon Kjaer and Pierre Kalulu are injured.

  1. It’ll be hard to watch Locatelli play against us again.

It’s just embarrassing how so many of our former players are playing for our rivals.
