Sky: Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus table contract offers to Milan star as stalemate emerges

By Oliver Fisher -

Two English clubs have come forward and made offers to try and land Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims, but the players is happy to renew his contract.

According to Sky Italia, the situation regarding the future of Calhanoglu – whose contract with Milan expires at the end of the season – is definitely complicated. At the moment the parties are in a state of total stalemate as the offer on the table is €4m net per season from Milan, who have no intention of improving their bid.

For his part, the Turkey international would instead want €5m net per season fix without bonuses and would be willing to go down on his request only minimally, thus not finding a meeting point with Milan’s proposal. The possibility that Calhanoglu could leave for free at the end of the season is becoming more and more concrete, therefore.

Juventus are thinking very seriously about the former Leverkusen star, while other offers have reached the player’s entourage in the last few hours, in particular from Arsenal and Chelsea, but they are lower from an economic point of view than Juve.
