There was the customary barbecue at Milanello today involving the squad and their families to mark the start of a new season, according to a report.
Through his Instagram story, Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews) revealed that the traditional start-of-season barbecue was held by Stefano Pioli today at Milanello.
One takes place every year and marks the beginning of a new campaign, and just like normal this one was attended by the families of the players and the staff too.
Milan officially get their 2022-23 season underway on Monday night when they make the trip to face Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, hoping for a successful campaign after going trophy-less last year.
Of course, a team bonding exercise like the barbecue will help Milan’s eight new summer signings to feel more acquainted with their new environments, especially because it offers a chance to bring loved ones along too.
