Sky: Bologna midfielder proposed to Milan with contract running low

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have been given the opportunity to try and sign Bologna midfielder Nicolas Dominguez as he only has one year left on his contract, a report claims.

As was reported by Sky Sport’s Calciomercato-L’Originale program (via Milan News), the Argentine will be out of contract with the Rossoblu at the end of next season so he could be signed for fairly cheap.

Bologna do not wish to lose him but the agent has been trying to secure a move, or they may be trying to leverage a new contract at Bologna.

If Milan were to present a credible offer to Bologna then they would certainly consider it, and there is a belief that Dominguez could be a good deputy for Ismael Bennacer.

Dominguez is still only 25 and has been at Bologna since 2019, albeit having spent one year back on loan at Velez Sarsfield. He cost Bologna €8.48 million four years ago.

  1. He may be cheap but he is a work horse like Kessie was. he’d be ideal for piolis press game.
If he flops no biggie, low invesment, if he doesnt you got a solid mid player for 5 years easy

    1. Him, RLC and Reijnders would bring quality and depth to the midfield but I still worry for the rest of our signings, not sure why we seem so focused on these

      1. I just hope they sign Kamada and anyone but Morata for ST.. These wonder kids are great and all but Milan needs exp not more talent

          1. “Anyone but Morata? Are you sure? OK…

            Arnautovic it is 😁”

            YESS!!! That’s 10-15 goals guaranteed instead of Morata’s 0-1. 🙂

EDIT: This platform is absolute sh*te! You’ll try to post a comment for 5 times “because apparently I’m too fast for it” and then it loses the comments.

          2. “Now I know how to make Arnautovic acceptable for the fans:

Offer Morata as the alternative 🤣”

LOL! Now that’s PR done right, for sure! 😀

    1. There is no limit on signing non-EU player from other Italian club. The limit only apply to players signed from abroad.

  2. I’d say take this guy… 8-10m is likely acceptable for Bologna as he is in last year in contract.

While at it, do a double deal with Orsolini for 20-25m tots. Win win for everyone.

Bologna get some money and not lost for free, Milan get quality players for not so big fee, and the players got move to big club with ambition.

  3. Would be very happy to see Dominguez, has always looked combative, gets the ball moved up the pitch, puts the effort in.
