Sky: Combined Milan-Inter XI – Ibra excluded and only four Rossoneri players present

By Oliver Fisher -

The team at Sky Italia have produced a combined starting line-up of Milan and Inter players ahead of today’s derby at San Siro.

There is no surprise that Gianluigi Donnarumma is in goal, but Sky have opted for a three-man defence – therefore a system like what Antonio Conte uses – and has put the Inter trio of Milan Skriniar, Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni in it.

Achraf Hakimi is the right wing-back while Nicolo Barella slots in next to him, but Franck Kessie, Hakan Calhanoglu and Theo Hernandez occupy the rest of the midfield.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was surely guaranteed to get a spot in the XI but Sky have chosen to snub the Swede in favour of Nerazzurri duo Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.

That means, therefore, that there is no place for the likes of Ismael Bennacer, Simon Kjaer, Ante Rebic or Rafael Leao. Let us know your combined XI below…
