AC Milan have made a new official offer Charles De Ketelaere and this time (please let it be this time) they believe it is the right one.
After Tuesday’s meeting in Lugano, Sky report that the Rossoneri are waiting for a response after Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have put €35m plus bonuses on the table, with Club Brugge told to give an answer within the next 48 hours.
Milan are also counting on the will of the player, who reiterated that he only wants to join the Rossoneri this summer and in the meantime did not play a single minute of the first two official matches of Club Brugge’s new season.
The 21-year-old playmaker was kept on the bench by head coach Carl Hoefkens in the Belgian Super Cup match win against Gent and then in the first round of Pro League action – when Brugge won against Genk – De Ketelaere was not even called up.

Partially confirmed at 35m. Can’t tell you if it was offered at Lugano, or if it’s a subsequent offer, but I’ve read elsewhere that it’s 31m, + 2m in easily reachable bonuses, +2m in moderately reachable bonuses. If Brugge doesn’t accept I’m more than happy to move on at this point and wish best of luck to CDK at Leeds.

This is a difficult transfer assignment. We must also be aware that we cannot pass easily and cheaply every time. From what I read to the Belgians, this is one of the best exhibits of the last few years or even decades, and they certainly want to make as much money on it as possible. Even when their chairman is a major shareholder in the club, and they have other better offers … Just remember how much we paid for Kalulu or fantastic goalkeeper Mike!? I hope this offer passes because we need players who will raise our level of play!
Just finished watching the first half of wolfsberger vs Milan and I can say that Adli should be a starter for sure. Such a brilliant player. Hardly puts a foot front. Arguably the best passer of the ball we have now.
Based on the position map of CdK, it seems like he actually active far more at both flank than at the center. Looks like Maldini plan on CdK as RW, he can also switch position with Leao between possesions. Looking forward to both of them play with Adli at the center.

He is utility player. I saw him switching position with Leao and other winger in the most of the Milan match i watched (when he played) last season. This kind of tactics will make us unpredictable on build ups or pressure the defence.
Adli, CDK, Tonali is a golden midfield. And we also have Bennacer 😍.

If we start next season with a starting line up of Maignan, Theo, Calabria, Tomori, Kjaer/Kalulu, Tonali, Adli, CDK, Leao, Ziyech and Origi, as well as Giroud, Benaccer, Saelemaekers, Rebic, Pobega, Messias, Gabbia and Diaz for depth (and Zlatan in the second half of the season), then I’d put us favorites to defend the Scudetto successfully and to go far in the Champions League.

If club Brugge decide to not sell, blame management. Why? Because they made it clear from the start that they are happy to hold on to the player for another season to raise his stock but if they have to sell, it must be 35mill and that didn’t change. I see no reason why we’d be going on numerous excursions without the original sum knowing that another club is willing to even pay higher.

1. While the purchase has been agreed, it hasn’t actually happened yet, and Elliott are still the owners. RedBird won’t actually be the owners until September.
2. This article literally says that we *are* offering €35 million, as well as additional bonuses. So… they actually can get to 35 (at least according to this source).
