Sky: Final bureaucratic detail to be resolved before defender completes €5.5m Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are very close to being able to officially confirm the signing of Alessandro Florenzi from Roma, according to a report.

After days of speculation, the Florenzi operation seemed to have hit the buffers somewhat but Sky Italia (via MilanLive) have provided a reassuring update on the situation. The 30-year-old will indeed join the Rossoneri in the coming days as an agreement between all parties has been found on the basis of a paid loan – costing €1m – plus an option to buy in favour of Milan set at €4.5m.

The broadcaster reports that one last bureaucratic aspect remains to be resolved, after which there will be the definitive ok and the Italy international will be able to travel north to Milano for his medical and then to sign the contract.

He could even arrive for his medical examinations in the next 24 hours, meaning he may well be available for Monday’s Serie A opener against Sampdoria.
