Sky: Fiorentina president opens up to sale of Chiesa – the problem for Milan and Juventus

By Oliver Fisher -

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has opened up to the idea of selling Federico Chiesa, but there is a big obstacle for Milan.

The Rossoneri have so far secured a new deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the permanent arrival of Ante Rebic, plus the signings of Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali and Ciprian Tatarusanu.

However, Chiesa is a name that continues to be linked as a potential dream signing to fully complete the squad for the season ahead.

Gianluca Di Marzio has given an update to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) regarding Chiesa’s situation, confirming that Juventus were ready to close a deal for the player, having already had an agreement with Chiesa and his father.

Commisso has given the green light for the 22-year-old to leave for the right price, but the problem is that no team has yet come close to the figures that Fiorentina are asking for.

There have been reports that Fiorentina would accept a paid loan with obligation to buy, but La Viola want an almost immediate payment with guaranteed money and no counterparts.
