As Sky Italia notes (via MilanLive), contacts between the club and the players with the highest salaries started a few days ago. For the moment there is no concrete proposal on the part of Milan, but CEO Ivan Gazidis would like to reach an agreement regarding a cut of sorts.
The management have arranged a telephone appointment with the team’s leaders to find a quick solution early next week, and negotiations between players and the club will begin on Monday .
The hope is to reach an agreement quickly and without problems, and in a period like this it is necessary to use common sense and compromise.
