Alessandro Florenzi has made good progress with his recovery and was able to participate in part of the group training at Milanello today. Given the injury struggles this season, his return is certainly a boost.
The versatile right-back has been injured since Milan’s game against away at Sassuolo, which was played at the end of August. His recovery has gone according to plan and a return is now in sight.
According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Florenzi participated in the first 30 minutes of group training today. He then continued on his induvial program, but it’s clear that he’s now in the final phase of recovery and that a return is near.
Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori took part in the entire training session and have both recovered. They are expected to play from the first minute in Milan’s clash against Tottenham on Tuesday evening, which is a big boost for Stefano Pioli.
