The harrowing scenes from AC Milan’s clash against Udinese have been linked to a further four individuals, and action has been taken, with further action probable, a report states.
Saturday’s victory came attached with an issue much bigger than football, as Milan’s goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, was subject to racist chants from Udinese fans behind the Frenchman’s goal.
One of the individuals responsible for the chanting was identified earlier this week. Following this, a report from Sky Italy states that four more individuals have been identified and given bans from football today.
Three men and a woman, aged between 32 and 45, all have been found to have been involved with the horrific chanting and, following the meticulous investigation from the Udine police, have been given five-year bans – which is the maximum for first-time offenders.
However, the four individuals will likely be banned from the Bluenergy stadium for life, as the first individual to have been identified has been.
Ban these inbreeds from all stadiums in Italy so they won’t see a live game again in their lifetime. It’s time governing bodies in sports impose higher penalties for such matters.
I think that’s the case when they’re talking a out the 5 year ban for first time offenders. This is a ban from all stadiums. Then there is the lifetime ban from Udinese specifically on top.
Ist so
I think a huge fine should be added, that will make them think twice.
I’d be a bit torn on the life bans if it was younger persons involved. With the ages listed as 32-46 for the 5 people that is not the case.
They are certainly old enough to have understood exactly what they were doing.
Where is the Udinese fan group who claimed there was no racism?
