Marco Giampaolo has made it clear that he intends to keep Suso and will not sell him this summer, one journalist claims.
The Spaniard seemed to be facing an uncertain future at the club amid doubts over his ability to adapt to the 4-3-1-2 formation that Giampaolo prefers.
However, he has put in two exceptional performances in Milan’s last two International Champions Cup games, drawing praise from his boss after Saturday’s game against Manchester United.
Giampaolo told reporters: “Suso is world-class. I told him and the club that. Suso isn’t a problem for us. We must keep our best players.”
Now, journalist Manuele Baiocchini has reinforced what was said by the coach, as he told Sky Sport 24: “When a coach puts the quality certificate on a playerin this manner, he proves that his will is to keep him.
“If he is talked about like that in press conference is a message: don’t sell him.”
