Sky: Good news filters regarding Calhanoglu’s condition – start against Roma not excluded

By Oliver Fisher -

The idea of Hakan Calhanoglu starting the game against Roma cannot be excluded, according to the latest reports from Sky.

Calhanoglu missed Milan’s game against Celtic on Thursday evening after sustaining an ankle sprain in training, with initial reports suggesting he could miss the next three or four games.

The Turkey international has been very important for the team in the post-lockdown period and he has been working hard to recover, leading to suggestions that he may at least be included in the squad to face Roma.

The midfielder’s condition will of course be assessed during Sunday and Monday’s sessions to understand if he can make the squad, but Sky (via MilanNews) have provided some positive news.

They claim that the injury did at first seem quite serious but the work of the playmaker in training means that, surprisingly, he could be available either from the first minute or on the bench for the visit of Roma.
