AC Milan have made the decision to keep striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his renewal signing is imminent, a report claims.
Ibrahimovic showed just how decisive he can be despite being 38 years old as he hit double figures in league goals for the Rossoneri following his return in the winter.
There had been question marks regarding his stay beyond the summer, especially when it seemed as though Ralf Rangnick was set to arrive as manager. Now though, things seem to have changed.
According to Sky Italia (via MilanLive), the signing of the renewal is approaching as Milan are aiming to keep the Swede for another year. At the end of next season, the management will consider whether to keep him again or not.
The former Paris Saint-Germain man had a devastating impact and was arguably the main architect – together with Pioli – of the resurgence in 2020, one that saw the team win nine of their last 12 games without a single defeat.
