Sky: Ibrahimovic amazes again with his professionalism; positive update arrives regarding Leao

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not know the meaning of the word rest, and he was at Milanello on Tuesday to begin his recovery.

According to Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic showed up at Milanello on Tuesday morning despite the injury to his hamstring that he suffered during Sunday’s 3-1 win over Napoli.

The Swede started the game and scored a brace either side of half time to take his Serie A goals tally to 10 for the season in six games, but he limped off in the second half and is expected to miss two to three weeks.

Di Stefano reports that Ibrahimovic arrived at the Carnago sports center at around 10am and left at around 3pm. He did work in the gym and underwent therapies to better cure the muscle injury in his left leg.

“At 39, Zlatan continues to amaze everyone with his desire and professionalism,” he added.

Some good news has arrived though just as Milan’s attack was beginning to feel the heat with Saelemaekers and Leao on the sidelines, and the latter is expected to return in just a few days.
