Sky: Ibrahimovic fighting to return for Roma game – his Milan exit is a certainty

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not remain at AC Milan beyond the summer but wants to go out on a high note, it is claimed.

Sky Italia journalist Manuele Baiocchini has given an update on the future of the Swede (via PianetaMilan) claiming that the striker will leave at the end of the season, but for the time being he is focused on doing his best for the duration of his contract.

He has been injured since 25 May, but has been at Milanello every day and trains to return as soon as possible. He has targeted the Roma game and will not be available for the trip to Lecce because he hasn’t started running yet, the journalist adds.

We will find out on Monday or Tuesday if the Roma game is a realistic point of return as he will undergo further medical checks to see if the lesion in the calf has been fixed.
