AC Milan will await the results of medical checks to determine the extent of the injury suffered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims.
It was once again the Zlatan Ibrahimovic show as his brace either side of half-time fired the Rossoneri into a two-goal lead at the Stadio San Paolo during Sunday’s 3-1 win over Napoli.
However, there was a substantial amount of panic as the Swede did limp off later in the game with what looked like a thigh problem. He initially pulled up after a cross and tried to play on, but then collapsed in a heap and came off.
According to reports from Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews), Zlatan Ibrahimovic reported a hamstring problem. The Swede felt a pang and then collapsed after sacrificing himself to come back and defend a set piece.
The injury will have to be evaluated with a scan to understand its extent.
