Sky: Ibrahimovic scores in friendly at Milanello as squad undergo third round of checks

Zlatan Ibrahimovic found his scoring boots again as he netted in a friendly that was played at Milanello on Saturday, a report claims.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanLive), preparations at Milan’s training centre are starting to get serious in view of the likely resumption of the season. Group training resumed last week, so head coach Stefano Pioli was able to organise small matches to get back into rhythm.

The first friendly was played on Saturday morning after a long time and the end result was 3-2. The important news is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic score the first goal.

It must be said that the Swede, compared to his team-mates, has not lost his rhythm. The fact he was able to train with Hammarby in Sweden appears to have helped him stay up to speed, and that was shown on the pitch over the weekend.

From the physical point of view he has an inevitable extra gear, Sky claims, something which strongly reaffirms Ibra ‘s desire to still be a protagonist. Meanwhile, on Monday morning the team underwent the third round of medical checks.
