Sky: Indications emerge regarding line-up Pioli should select against Spezia

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have had little time to celebrate their win over Red Bull Salzburg as they take to the field against Spezia at San Siro tomorrow aiming to avenge the defeat against Torino in their last league games.

According to what was reported by Manuele Baiocchini live on Sky (via MilanNews) from Milanello, the first indications have arrived on the choices that head coach Stefano Pioli is likely to make in view of the game against Spezia.

Starting with the attacking department, Divock Origi is currently ahead of Olivier Giroud in terms of chances to start as the striker, while the battle for the playmaker role is between Brahim Diaz and Charles De Ketelaere. Junior Messias should return on the right wing.

In midfield the pairing of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali should be fielded again, and the only change in defence should be Matteo Gabbia coming in for Simon Kjaer.
