Sky: Latest check-up complete for Ibrahimovic – when the striker could return

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is closing in on making a full recovery from his thigh problem and his return could come this weekend against Parma, according to the latest reports.

Ibrahimovic limped off in the second half after scoring a brace against Napoli, and the media reported that he is expected to miss two to three weeks, though the striker himself said he thinks he will miss a week or two.

While it was initially expected that he could make a remarkable recovery for the Sampdoria game, the Swede has not been risked, but it seems as though his return to action is getting closer.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic had a new test on Monday to evaluate how the recovery from the muscle injury is proceeding. The check-up went well and there are chances that the striker could return to Pioli’s disposal for the match on Sunday against Parma.
