AC Milan forward Rafael Leao will undergo tests on Thursday to understand the extent of the injury he suffered on international duty.
Leao took to the field at half-time to play in the the second half of Portugal’s U21 game against the Netherlands, but didn’t end up seeing out the 45 minutes.
The forward instead lasted only 37 minutes as he had to leave the field due to a physical problem, and of course fans are now worrying about the extent of the injury just as the squad had got back to full fitness.
According to what is being reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Leao will undergo a scan later today to understand the extent of his physical problem. The broadcaster adds though that the former Lille star will probably not be available for Sunday’s away match against Napoli.
That of course now means that Ante Rebic is virtually nailed on for a start on the left wing.
