Lyon could offer up star winger Memphis Depay as part of a swap deal to land AC Milan playmaker Lucas Paqueta, a report claims.
Paqueta seems to be heading for the exit door and Lyon appears to be the most interested party, with numerous sources claiming their pursuit is concrete but it depends on sales.
Speaking to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about the possible Paqueta-Lyon operation and dropped a bombshell.
He claimed that Lyon could propose Memphis Depay to Milan in the eventual Paquetá operation. Milan have followed him for some time, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not want to be on the bench, so it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri would be interested.
Depay was in the sights of FC Barcelona, Di Marzio added, but the deal is not concluded. He has one more year left in his contract and Lyon would not want to lose him on a free transfer.
