Sky: Maldini and Massara intend for De Ketelaere to ‘arrive at Milan soon’

By Oliver Fisher -

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have made their intentions clear and they want to sign Charles De Ketelaere soon, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke on Sky (via MilanNews) about the negotiations linked to De Ketelaere, and he confirmed that new discussions have been held with contacts currently ‘continuous’ between the parties involved.

He described the discussions as being a ‘slow fire’ towards a final agreement with Club Brugge, so Tuesday was not the decisive day, but De Ketelaere ‘will arrive at Milan soon’ as per the intentions of Maldini and Massara.

With 18 goals and 10 assists from 49 club appearances last season, the 21-year-old Belgium international is certainly attracting a lot of attention, including from the Premier League. That means that the Rossoneri will have to move quickly and decisively if they are to sign a player who is regarded as one of the biggest talents on the continent.

  1. Maldini and Massara need to make this signing not just for ACM but for their own credibility as big and successful power brokers in the football world

Fellows just get it done and stop the agonising torcher for the fans and the player

    1. It’s not M&M – it’s Ownership not giving them the proper budget to get these deals done. M&M scouted these players for 6 months to a year – CDK, Botman, Sanches, etc…but if they don’t have the $$ to buy them how can it be their fault?? M&M are once again trying to work miracles with a limited (embarrassing IMO) transfer budget. If they had the 100M (which is not a lot in todays market) originally promised, these deals would have already been done. You cannot be a “big successful power brokers in the football world” if you don’t have a fat checkbook to back you up lol. That’s ownerships fault, not M&M’s
