New signing Mario Mandzukic has picked up a small physical problem, it has been confirmed, but it is nothing to worry about.
Pioli confirmed during his pre-match interview ahead of tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final game against Inter that Mandzukic sustained a problem during Saturday’s defeat to Atalanta and that he will only know on the morning of the game if he will be involved.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Mandzukic will start from the bench, both because he has a small ankle problem and because in general he doesn’t even have 45 minutes in his legs.
It must be remembered that the Croatian is coming off the back of a year of inactivity, especially because he is a player who expends a lot of energy. Therefore, he must get up to an adequate athletic condition to live up to what he has always shown here in Italy and start a game.
