Sky: Milan can no longer play waiting game as Premier League clubs want Chelsea outcast

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face competition from England in their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

A number of different sources have reported that Bakayoko wants to return to the Rossoneri as he has remained very attached to the club since his loan spell in 2018-19.

Those links have intensified given that Milan are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements given the departure of Lucas Biglia and the doubts over the future of Torino-linked Rade Krunic.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), there are also other Premier League teams who are circling for the midfield, who the journalist has previously claimed could cost €3m loan plus a €35m option to buy.

The player has given Milan his priority, but the Rossoneri will have to try to satisfy Chelsea’s demands if they are to ensure the return of the Frenchman, who turns 26 today.
