AC Milan are set to close an agreement with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a new one-year deal by the end of the weekend, a report claims.
According to Sky, it is simply a matter of time before Milan are able to announce that the Swede will be remaining at San Siro for another year, despite reports in the media from various sources claiming there is a big difference between the two parties in terms of offer and demands.
The report claims that the renewal negotiations should close over the weekend to the delight of both parties, as Milan have been revitalised by Ibrahimovic and the striker has found a new energy at Milan.
The agreement should be reached at around €6million net, a compromise between the €7.5m requested by Ibrahimovic and the €5m offered by Milan.
Stefano Pioli should therefore be able to welcome Zlatan for preseason preparations early next week.
