AC Milan were interested in the idea of signing Guido Rodriguez from Real Betis but they have been forced to change their plans, according to a report.
Due to Tommaso Pobega’s injury, as well as Rade Krunic’s imminent departure, there have been suggestions that Milan are set to bring in at least one midfielder in January. We reported that Guido Rodriguez has ended up on their wish list and could arrive in a cut-price deal.
Rodriguez is one of the top names on Milan’s list of targets and the Real Betis man could arrive in a cut-price deal worth around €10m, seeing as his contract with the Spanish side will expire in the summer.
According to the latest update from Peppe Di Stefano for Sky (via Radio Rossonera), it was believed that the 29-year-old Rodriguez could be a player that Milan would target, especially in the event that Krunic were sold for example.
However, the Argentine has a fibula problem and underwent surgery a few days ago meaning that will be out for a few months, so Milan will either have to change their target or delay the negotiations and make him more of a target for next summer.
Jerry was no joke when he said he’s ambitious. Next targets are Kévin Constant and Adil Rami.
again super scout will do his algorithm in France junk shop i think..
Constant was (is) the biggest joke Milan ever had. He was like an April Fool’s prank that got out of hands.
Bro at least Constant wasn’t horrendously bad, just terribly bad. We had Mesbah and Bakaye Traore, remember? 😂 Omg my brain melts remembering those players
Remember? How could I forget?!!! I’ve tried everything. Sniffing glue, drinking windscreen washer fluids, cocaine. None of them worked.
This was all Pioli’s fault, he went to his house and beat him up
That’s a relief, dodged a bullet there…..could of had another cut price la ligue import there, to add to our ever growing group of imported rejects
LOL. Now “The Pioli Effect” starts affecting the players RUMORED to be linked with Milan!!! Someone should start rumors about Lautaro, Thuram, Chiesa, Bremer etc. coming to Milan in January. 😀
It’s kinda funny. We have this strict youth policy and wage cap – BUT when a cheap bargain comes along – we scrap the moneyball approach and want to sign him lol. 10M for a 29 yr old isn’t much in today’s game at all – HOWEVER with our ownership it represents approximately 1/3 of our transfer budget?? So for US – it unfortunately is a lot of $$ (as pathetic as that sounds). So basically we are swapping one 30 yr old (Krunic) for another in Rodriguez who may be an upgrade but who will most likely (as an impending free agent) will make more than Krunic to be a backup. Hmmmmm….. Moneyball anyone???
This is all rumors and headlines… I think RLC was the oldest player we signed. Doubt they pull the trigger for a 29yo.
I sincerely do not understand our strategy right now. At least before we can cough it up to bring lean and having a wage cap but right now it’s so scatter gun. Alot of penny wise pound foolish stuff.
