Sky: Milan given big injury boost ahead of trip to Sassuolo as key defender will return

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been dealt a big boost ahead of the weekend’s crucial game against Sassuolo as Theo Hernandez will be available, a report claims.

Head coach Stefano Pioli sprung a surprise an hour before kick-off at the Marassi against Genoa as he named Diogo Dalot in the starting XI instead of Theo Hernandez at left-back, with the Frenchman battling some muscle fatigue.

According to a report from journalist Peppe Di Stefano for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Theo Hernandez has disposed of the fatigue that prevented him from taking the field in yesterday’s game.

The Frenchman will therefore be avaialble for Sunday afternoon’s match against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium, so now we just wait for the news regarding another crucial duo in striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and centre-back Simon Kjaer.
