Sky: Milan happy to play a waiting game as Barcelona put up a wall regarding full-back

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still hoping that Barcelona will change their stance regarding full-back Junior Firpo, according to the latest reports.

The Rossoneri have targeted Firpo as a deputy to Theo Hernandez for the upcoming season given that Diego Laxalt is set to join Dynamo Moscow and there are still doubts about whether Diogo Dalot could return from Manchester United.

According to the latest from Sky Italia (via MilanNews) however, it is not proving to be an easy pursuit for the Milan management as Barcelona are asking for a fee to let him leave, which is contrary to the Diavolo’s intentions of signing him on loan with an option to buy.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara meanwhile are hoping that in a couple of weeks the LaLiga side will open to the formula that they have in mind, but the situation for now is in deadlock it seems.
