Sky: Milan have no intention of raising offer to Calhanoglu – his exit now a concrete possibility

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu appear to be heading towards parting ways at the end of the season as things stand, a report claims.

There are now less than 75 days until Calhanoglu’s contract with Milan expires and the subject has dominated the media headlines over the past few weeks due to the fact no renewal is seemingly imminent.

Sky reporters Manuele Baiocchini (via PianetaMilan) was present at Casa Milan to talk about the imminent renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and also spoke about the two other complicated renewal situations, namely those linked to Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.

If there is still optimism regarding the goalkeeper despite the now imminent deadline, the Sky correspondent has no doubts about the Turkey international, and it is not a positive outlook. The management have no intention of raising their offer, and for this reason the situation now seems compromised. A separation now seems a more than concrete hypothesis.

  1. What’s up with this idiotic attitude?! Are they really gonna f*** up the relationship with one of the best players, and no less but for just 0.5 million?! I know the club should show a firm stance, but what’s the rational outcome of this?! It’ll be easier to spend money for another on that position while Hakan goes free, just to give him 1 or 1.5 million per season less? THAT MAKES BETTER ECONOMIC & TEAM BUILDING SENSE?!
ARE ALL THOSE IN MILAN INSANE?!
And how da f*** do they plan to build a powerful Milan with players who won’t ask for more than 4 million per year?! Top players make a top club and top players cost money!! THAT’S THE FOOTBALL WORLD WE LIVE IN.
If you let go of Calhanoglu, who’s gonna be the next to go for the same reason? KESSIE? After him Theo, Benaccer, etc etc…
f*** YOU MALDINI IF YOU LET HAKAN GO!!!

    1. What player are you watching? He had a good run of form after covid. Other than that he’s average at best. He stinks at taking corners, he scores very rarely, he give away possession way too often. He’s been with us for 4 years and that’s the best he gives? I’ll take Messina at half the price.

    2. Hakan should go…… Sell sell sell

He is asking for tooo much and the biger problem for Milan is RAIOLA
Milan should look to someone whoo puts in 90 minutes in a game not someone who goes missing when playing big teams like Atalanta, Inter and Juve
      I say SELL SELLL

  2. this is how milan try to re-affirm their project. all i hope for is maldini could get a better replacement (if hakan does leave).

  3. Hakan is asking for more than what he gives ,take Atalanta for example highest earner there earn how much and they played in champions league
