Sky: Milan’s interest in Fenerbahce sensation is very concrete

Another reliable source are now reporting that AC Milan are interested in signing forward Arda Güler from Fenerbahce.

According to Sky, Milan have a ‘very concrete interest’ in Güler, who despite his very young age has already made his debut with the senior national team, collecting four appearances and scoring his first goal on Monday night.

In his last season with the Istanbul club he took the field on 35 occasions and scored five goals and six assists, which are impressive numbers for an 18-year-old.

It was reported by Yagiz Sabunuoglu of SportDigital last night that Milan have sent a letter to Fenerbahce asking for permission to begin official discussions with Güler’s entourage over personal terms.

Everything seems to point towards Milan making a serious attempt to convince the player to leave his home country and try a new adventure in Italy, while there is a release clause believed to be €17.5m in his deal with Fener.

    1. Every player wants to play for Inter.. Even Mbapppe, Messi, Neymar, Haaland etc are seeking a transfer to Inter!🤯

  1. -Milan have a ‘very concrete interest’ in Güler-

yes, many also believe thuram will come to Milan after rejecting psg, until 24-hours later inter snatch him in the last minutes

  2. We seem to penny pinch before overpaying.

With Guler his release clause is 17mn we will try to negotiate to 15mn. If his clause was 20mn we would try to negotiate to 18mn.

This pattern if it continues will miss out on targets before, in the last week of mercato…. Panic buying Lukaku for 50mn and 7mn salary, thereby p!ssing off Leao and Theo who demand a move.

For some reason Redbird / management don’t value loyalty, team spirit, character.. just seem clueless not decisive.

Thuram debacle is an example. Sure he’s not amazing but we negotiate for 20 days then lose him? Now every other striker knows they weren’t first choice, we lose time while others strengthen … surely even the Maldini haters can admit this window so far has started no better. Seems those in charge are just guessing without a strategy.

    1. Yes, Maldini lost a lot of time because the negotiations were too long because of the stubborn Redbird,Maldini missed many targets as a result the players who were brought in were too late to adapt.

  3. Eventually Kamada will also got snatched at last minute.

We will get excellent unkwon cheap player or cheap passed prime player
And Moncada will say the algorithm says he is the best choice and Milan’s priority from the beginning.

    Aah difficult times…

  4. I’d be super annoyed if Milan fail to buy this kid. Given Arda’s release clause, it’s weird and embarassing if Milan can’t afford him after selling Tonali and losing Brahim.
Frattesi would be great, but apparently the player prioritises Inter.
I care not about Thuram as his records arent that convincing to justify his wage demand. I think we might have even dodged the bullet.

  5. I’m trying to see the fuss of this kid. Maybe I need to see a whole.game but his highlights don’t impress. He stays in the ball too long, his dribble success seems to stem more from defender error or luck than the actual dribble, heavilyy left footed to the point of it being a target for Serie a defence, can shoot waywardly high. On the plus side, does dirbble well, can receive passes very well, can sprint dribble, right foot weak but good enough if playing on the wing.
Overall I think Serie A defences will gobble him up lol. Those trickery can do well in the Turkish league but for Serie A it’s going to be tough for him
    My two cents

  6. LOL!!! Milan has “a concrete interest” all over Europe now. There’s like 50 players linked none will come because the “concrete interest” never turns into “concrete offer”. They wait, evaluate, wait, re-evaluate, think about making an offer, wait, reconsider the offer and lower it, wait and when they’re finally ready to submit the offer, it’s Christmas already and everyone has moved on.
