Sky: Milan looking to follow Tonali deal by sealing return of Chelsea midfielder – the latest

AC Milan are pushing to complete a deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko after wrapping up the signing of Sandro Tonali, according to a report.

After an intense last few days of negotiations, several major sources reported on Sunday night that Tonali to Milan is now a done deal, with the Rossoneri having found an agreement with both the player and his club.

According to what Gianluca Di Marzio has reported for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the deal for Tonali is complete as Brescia president Massimo Cellino has signed the documents pertaining to the transfer of the player.

He adds that Tonali does not rule out the arrival of Bakayoko as Milan want four strong midfielders for next season. They are continuing to negotiate with Chelsea through the player’s agent to find the right compromise between offer and demand.

It should be formula similar to that of Tonali (a loan with option to buy) with a lower loan fee of around €3m but a higher option. Milan’s intention is to sign two midfielders, and Bakayoko is the priority.
