AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has been cleared to return to training at long last after a second negative test for Coronavirus, it is claimed.
Like virtually all the non-Italian players in the Rossoneri squad, Kessie returned back to his home country the Ivory Coast when the season was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the 23-year-old encountered some difficulties when attempted to return to Milano as he could not source a flight back to Italy, something which held up his return by over a week.
Nonetheless, he landed back in Milano earlier in the week and underwent an initially Coronavirus test as he entered a 14-day quarantine period.
Now, Sky are reporting (via MilanNews) that after two consecutive negative swabs, Kessie also ended his quarantine a few days in advance and returned to training at Milanello this afternoon.
