AC Milan look set to be without striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the game against Roma at San Siro on June 28th, according to a report.

The Swede has been kept out of the squad for Monday’s trip to face Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare by a calf injury he picked up after returning to training.

Initially it was assumed he would be out for around four weeks and therefore had a good chance of being available for the game against Roma on Sunday, but news to the contrary has arrived.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews) confirmed first of all that the team had arrived in Brindisi were heading on to Lecce this evening.

He added that Pioli ‘feels a little nervous’, as tomorrow there will be a great game importance for Milan. Ibrahimovic will take further tests in the next week on his injury, with his probable return likely to be against SPAL or Lazio.

As for Musacchio, in the coming days he will be operated on in Barcelona while Leo Duarte should return to group in the coming week.
