Sky: Milan’s market to end with loan exit and a contract termination – there will be no signings

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will not make another new signing before the end of the transfer window, it is claimed, which will likely end with two sales.

Going into deadline day, it seemed a certainty that Milan would centre-back before the window closes at 20:00 CEST given that they currently have only two healthy players in that particular department.

However, according to the latest from Di Marzio of Sky Italia (via MilanLive), there will be no more signings for Milan in the current window after the arrivals of Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali, Ciprian Tatarusanu, Jens Petter Hauge and Diogo Dalot.

A move for Ozan Kabak of Schalke was ruled out earlier in the day and bids for Mohamed Simakan of Strasbourg have reportedly been rejected, while Antonio Rudiger was never really close.

Di Marzio adds that Milan’s market is likely to conclude with the loan exit of Diego Laxalt to Celtic and with the contract termination of Alen Halilovic.
