Sky: Milan’s mercato could be over as Taison talks hit a wall

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s 2019 summer mercato could be over as talks for Taison have hit complications, according to a report.

At present, the vast majority of rumours surrounding the Rossoneri are regarding the Brazilian playmaker, with a number of outlets stating that Milan are attempting a deadline day deal.

Our transfer expert Vito Angele recently told us that Milan are trying to find an agreement on the basis of a loan with obligation to buy under certain conditions.

However, we were also informed by Angele that Shakhtar have rejected that offer as they only want an outright sale, despite the fact they are already searching for Taison’s replacement and the player wants the move to San Siro.

As per Sky Italia‘s Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanEye on Twitter), the negotiations surrounding Taison are becoming increasingly complicated as the Ukranian side have blocked his sale for now.

He goes on to add that unless a surprise is sprung, Milan’s mercato should be concluded after the confirmation of Ante Rebic, who is currently undergoing his medical.
