Sky: Milan’s XI for Lecce – Calhanoglu to start on the wing; Piatek on the bench

By Oliver Fisher -

Hakan Calhanoglu is set to return to the left wing spot for Milan’s game against Lecce at San Siro on Sunday night, a report claims.

The Rossoneri will have a new head coach in charge for the fixture, as Stefano Pioli took the place of the sacked Marco Giampaolo over the international break.

Pioli inherits a squad that have lost four of their first seven league games to start the season and will be hoping for an instant response in front of a 50,000 strong home crowd, though protests are expected from fans.

According to the latest from Sky Italia, the former Lazio and Fiorentina boss is going to use a 4-3-3 formation as expected, with Andrea Conti coming in for the injured Davide Calabria.

Mateo Musacchio is back from suspension and should come in for Leo Duarte, while in the midfielder it will be Lucas Biglia as the regista plus Lucas Paqueta and Franck Kessie.

The front three is where the most speculation has been rumbling, and the latest report claims that Suso will start on the right with Calhanoglu on the left and Rafael Leao as a centre-forward, meaning Krzysztof Piatek will be dropped.
