Sky: One man in the background at Milan set for big role in the coming months

By Oliver Fisher -

The right-hand man of CEO Ivan Gazidis – Hendrik Almstadt – is set for an increased role at Milan in the coming months, it is claimed.

MilanNews recently offered a bit of background on Almstadt and why he has become so important to Gazidis and to Milan since being appointed last January.

It was claimed by il Corriere dello Sport that Gazidis as CEO gave more credit to the German than to Boban and Maldini when it came to decision making in the recent transfer window, triggering more than a little bit of misunderstanding.

According to the latest from Sky Italia (via Calciomercato.com), Almstadt is a profile who will be spoken about a lot over the coming months, as he is set to receive even more influence and even more responsibility in the running of the club, especially given that Gazidis looks set to achieve his desire of a managerial revolution once the season has concluded.
