Sky: Pioli prepares potential surprise vs. Atalanta with Romero tried in training

By Oliver Fisher -

There could yet be a surprise in the starting line-up for tomorrow’s game against Atalanta as Stefano Pioli tried Luka Romero in attack during training, a report claims.

According to what Sky (via MilanNews) are reporting, in yesterday’s training session Samuel Chukwueze was not the player tried out as the right winger but it was Romero instead. Now we must see if this hypothesis will be repeated today in the final session before the team depart.

However, there is no doubt regarding the rest of the Rossoneri team. In front of Mike Maignan will be a back four of Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez and Alessandro Florenzi in defence.

In the middle of the pitch there will be room for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders, while Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic are certain of a place in attack while waiting for the dilemma on the right to be resolved.

  1. Another Pioli masterclass in the making.. Romero needs 3 years on loan before he will be effective at Milan. And maybe 5-10 cm of height and 5kg of muscle

    1. Stefano Pioli if you doubt Romero in right winger he is very solid in attacking midfield as no 10 fix him and you will see the outcomes
